AboutLorrie Rivers is an LA, SC, and London-based actor with experience in film, television, commercials, theater, and voice-over.
She recently completed the esteemed Masters in Acting for Film program (distinction) at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London (other grads include Andrew Garfield, Gael Garcia Bernal, Kristin Scott Thomas, Judi Dench, etc). Lorrie received her undergrad BA degree from Vassar College. Lorrie recently finished starring in Lola's Prayer, a short film written and directed by Emmy-nominated Wade Sellers. Current projects include a short film now in post (Sunrise), a web series (written and performed by Lorrie) and a feature film with London-based director/writer Smita Bhide (winner Best Feature Raindance, writer and assoc producer of BBC/HBO Cinemax's show Hunted) also written and performed by Lorrie. Check back for updates and links! A celebrated singer as well, Lorrie sang at the Grits and Granite Inaugural Ball for Obama in Washington, DC. You can find her these days playing original music around town in LA and SC. She just finished shooting a music video for an original song..."Wolf Song" and is currently writing lots of new songs for her newest album. Lorrie wrote, directed, produced, and performed the multi-media concert extravaganza "Maya's Wonderland: Alice In Wonderland In A Vinyl Bustier." You can see pictures in the photo section.
