"Alice In Wonderland in a vinyl bustier."  Maya's Big Vermilion is a multimedia concert event.  The most recent show was in Columbia, SC and drew 450 guests.  The show incorporates video, animation, live band, the sexy, quirky vibe of Lorrie's original music, and live dancers.  There was a carnival atmosphere to open, including a pie eating contest, fortune-teller, cornhole toss, and various other games and activities.  The event was held at 701 on Whaley St.  Maya's Big Vermilion was named one of the "Concerts of the Year" by The State Newspaper in 2007 and 2009.  You can listen to original Maya's Big Vermilion music here. 

Lorrie is a seasoned jazz performer and one of the forefront jazz singers in the southeast.  She sang at the Grits and Granite Ball for Obama's Inauguration.  You can listen to her music and look at a press packet here.

Dr. Sketchy's is a gathering for sketching.  There are Dr. Sketchy's groups all over the US and it usually meets once a month.  These are pictures from the session Lorrie modeled for. 

Simon Annand has worked with actors such as Cate Blanchett, Kiera Knightly, David Williams, and Rachel Weisz.  He currently has an exhibit showing at the V&A in London.
